Meet Jesse Carmody

Real estate isn’t just a commodity to Jesse Carmody. “It’s a space to create a community, build a family, and make memories,” he says. “It’s a space to build stability for your family, and an asset that creates security for yourself and future generations.”

 

Homes have always been a part of Jesse’s life. His father was a custom homebuilder, and his grandmother was an interior designer. Jesse inherited their artistic eye, earning a bachelor’s degree in commercial photography. His work and his passion for architecture and well-designed spaces drew him closer to real estate, and after he and his wife bought their first home, he found himself immersed in the business.

 

“We eventually built ourselves another home from the ground up,” he recalls. “I gained so much perspective on all of the elements that make up a solid and sound home. I learned so much about materials, construction methods, thoughtful design, and attention to detail, from breaking ground, installing the rough utilities, and pouring the footings and foundations, all the way on to finally creating a three-dimensional space to walk through.”

 

Along with his understanding of homes, Jesse is driven by civic pride. “I’ve lived in most of Southern California’s coastal counties at one point or another in my life,” he says. “Putting down roots in Ventura and being able to work in this community is a privilege.”

 

In his spare time, Jesse likes to surf and ride bicycles. He still pursues photography and loves sharing his art to tell stories and histories. Most of all, he enjoys family time with his wife and three children and feels happy to be part of the community where they’ll grow up.
