Originally from the East Coast, Kathleen is now rooted on California’s Central Coast. She is inspired by the natural beauty and creative spirit of the region. Real estate has also been part of her family story. Both of her parents were real estate appraisers, giving her an early appreciation for homes and their value.
Kathleen is the founder and creative director of The Artful Dwelling. Her art and design practice is centered on finding and curating spaces that feel like you. For more than 15 years, she has built relationships through creative work, sales and staging. That experience gives her a thoughtful eye for what makes a home distinctive and how it can be presented at its best.
For sellers, Kathleen brings that perspective to preparing a home for market. She works with clients on staging and design details, then develops a strategic presentation and marketing approach designed to connect with buyers and achieve strong value. For buyers, she takes time to understand how they want to live and what they need from a home. Her goal is to help them find a place that feels like a sanctuary and gives them room to make it their own.
Education and community are also central to Kathleen’s work. She works with Children’s Creative Project (CCP) in Santa Barbara, creating arts curriculum for public schools and supporting student art shows. She also teaches art in Ojai.
Kathleen is excited to bring this perspective to ACME805 | SERHANT. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family and exploring the Central Coast, especially its beaches and natural surroundings.
